Incident at FHS - September 14, 2026
Dear River Bend families,
Earlier today, District personnel became aware of a situation involving a possible look-alike weapon on the Fulton High School campus. Upon becoming aware the District initiated standard protocol, to promptly investigate and contacted law enforcement. Law enforcement promptly responded and located the look-alike weapon, which was secured without incident and with full cooperation of the student involved.
We want to reassure you that at no time were any students or staff in danger within our school community and no actual threats were made against any students or staff.
Student and staff safety is our top priority. We responded promptly to the concern and after consultation with local authorities are confident that the school environment is safe. The student involved has been identified, fully cooperated with District personnel and law enforcement, and is being dealt with through the disciplinary process of the school. Due to student privacy laws and the ongoing nature of the investigation we are unable to release further comment.
